Law Enforcement Background

Our Mission

Owner, Michelle L. Ferrara, has been a Law Enforcement Officer for 24 years and an Emergency Medical Technician for 11 years. She has worked on many crime/trauma scenes in her profession and knows how difficult it can be for families of victims, let alone having to deal with cleaning after the police leave.

Trauma Solutions of South Florida, Inc., has been featured in The Palm Beach Post, Monday, December 10, 2007, and The Sun Sentinel, December 13, 2010.

The Sun Sentinel

The worst part of the job is the stench of rotting flesh. It lingers long after crime scene-cleanup technicians peel off their biohazard suits. Police officers and firefighters have experienced it all, leading many into the potentially lucrative business of cleaning up crimes scenes and other traumatic events. As first responders, police and firefighters are trained to handle the sight of maggots, blood and guts, said Dale Cillian, immediate past president of the American Bio-Recovery Association, which trains crime scene-cleanup technicians. So it's a logical side job, he said.
